As the youngest member of the Hermle Performance-Line, the C 650 sets new standards in terms of the traverse path and load performance. Furthermore, the machining centre manages to integrate the entire spectrum of features that have proved hugely popular with users of the smaller C 250 and C 400 models. HIGH-TECH TOOL SPINDLES WITH COLLISION PROTECTION
The slimline tool spindles are constructed in two parts and can be replaced easily and quickly during servicing. Thanks to low interfering edges and collision protection by compression sleeves, safety is given primary importance by maximum collision avoidance. Damage can be prevented in 50 % of collisions.

DURING PRODUCTION AND OPERATION
Hermle fertigt viele Bauteile in Leichtbauweise und in Mineralgusstechnologie. Der hohe Anteil an Eigenfertigung, lokale Bezugsquellen und Komponenten mit hohen Wirkungsgraden tragen ebenfalls zur Energieeffizienz bei. Energierückspeisung, hochwertige Servoantriebe und die bekanntermaßen sehr lange Lebensdauer zeugen im laufenden Betrieb beispielhaft von demselben Anspruch.

TOOL CHANGER
The pick-up tool magazine of the C 12 is integrated into the machine bed, making for very good accessibility. There are 36 pockets in the ring magazine, as well as the option for 35 more on a second level in the ZM 35 additional magazine. The maximum tool weight is 8 kg and the maximum tool length is 200 mm.
ROBOT SYSTEM, PALLET CHANGER AND HANDLING SYSTEM
The C 12 compact machining centre, entry-level model in the Hermle High-Performance Line, already comes with a high level of automation. For instance, the RS 05-2 robot system, the HS flex and the PW 100 pallet changer can all be connected to it. If required, the HACS (‘Hermle Automation Control System’) and the HIMS (‘Hermle Information Management System’) can be used for easier operation.
EVERYTHING WELL THOUGHT-THROUGH
From the comprehensive fluid technology to the optimized chip management system and a range of cooling lubricant units: The entry-level model of the High-Performance Line has a number of highlights to offer, e.g. the right chip disposal equipment for removing all types of chip from the working area. The especially compact and space-saving machining centre can be transported without being dismantled and set up without a foundation.
